Spec vs ram clutch

Im looking at a ram stage two clutch 99 gt 4.6 or a spec stage 3 clutch... Not sure what one to get?? Also spec states that you need to use a spec flywheel? I talked to my mechanic and he said that a flywheel is a flywheel as long as the bolt patterns are the same and they are steel or aluminum ? Let me know on you opinion thanks

I'm runnin a spec stage 2 clutch on just a factory style cobra flywheel.. I just put twin turbos on my car and it's not slipping at all, and plus its not that hard to push the clutch down. I ran a ram stage 3 a while back and I hated the way it felt and where it engaged at, I'd go spec IMO

Exedy all the way I have a stage 2 in my 04 GT with mild bolt ons and it makes a 100% difference and the stage 2 is rated just under 500 Hp I think just look at American muscle for the ratings
