5.0 vs 4.6

Buddy of mine has a 2012 5.0 stock and I have a 2003 gt with K&N CAI, BBK 78 throttle body, Steeda under drive pullies, MAC xpipie, flow master series 40 cat back exhaust, ford 4:10 gears and vex wet nos running 100 shot.
He's says he would take me easy, but won't run with me. Opinions?

I think it would be pretty close, with that 100 shot you might be able to pull on him though.

Any extra bolt ons i can do so i can make him see my tail lights or am I maxed out. Don't wanna super charge.

You could get a new Intake Manifold... Kinda like this:

Since you have a 78mm TB it should fit the IM.

Other than that you are pretty much maxed out on bolt-ons. You could start to go to internals (i.e. Port and Polished heads)

Long tube headers are the only other bolt on. The next step would be the eddy intake

Short throw shifter, better tires and control arms for launching/ traction issues.

I have an 03 mustang gt automatic with a 2800 stall converter flowmaster exhaust bbk o/r H pipe cai 75 mm throttle body and plenum 3:73 gears tuner and 100 cold fusion dry shot and mickey thompson drag radials and i can tell you from exaperience YOU WILL EAT THAT 5.0 ALIVE!! CAUSE I have!! But alls he had done was exhaust but i beat him by atleast 4 cars!
