Well well your still trying to decide?? 135miles isnt alot on todays engine. hell there are probably still cross hatching on the cylinder walls. Get some cams or get that 4v. People are just going to tell you what you want to hear. Just figure out what you want in the end game and plan accordingly.

i was just about to pm you on here lol, i was looking on cl and found a complete 95 mark engine for 250, with the teksid block but the guy said the valves are shot, could i just use the block, throw a mmr rotating assy in it and use a set of ported 2v heads? would i be able to go 2v with that motor? im fairly confused and really dont want to have to get the timing set, and tuning done on the 32v swap.

Mid pipe/catback Exhaust, CAI, Throttle body and plenum, headers, subframe connectors, wheels and tires, Mach 1 Chin, Headers, SCT BAMA Tunes.. All of these are pretty much must have suggestions.

Yeah you would be able to use the 2v head no problem. Try and get a mild cam as well to go with the heads

sell the car with 135k on it and take the 4 grand and put it towards a newer stang that might already be lightly modded.

So that way he has a payment. And 135k is nowhere near a lot of miles for a mod motor.

Giving options... You can buy a 96-98 cobra for 8-10 grand. 98 Gt is worth 4000 plus 4000 your are in a nice used cobra. Oh and it already has a teksid block and will handle 12lbs of boost with no other mods an you will have a fun safe 450rwp car Just saying

You could rebuild the engine and put forged internals and cams and such. I don't know much about all that or how much it would cost, but that is my plan once my engine gives and needs a rebuild. I'm only at 86,000 so got a while to go until that.

im prolly going to build one, ive built chevy 350s before, so im sure bottom end and everything is close to the same, but i want to use the teksid block because it holds more power then our stock block.

I'm in the process of finishing my teksid build as we speak. I can't imagine taking a 100lbs of the nose of my car. It definitely should help it hook better

Re: what to do next?

I say: Go ahead and Rebuild your Engine with the money you have. Having a newly rebuilt Engine is far better than having 135K Engine.

Re: what to do next?

Buy a used super charger setup for cheap, like under thousand. Put it on and run your motor into the ground.

Use the rest to build your new motor and re use the blower.

That way you get the most out of everything and have the most fun.

Ok Part #1 Is the headlamp mount panel you do not need to change this the are all the same You only need to change part #4 in the illustration. you also need to re drill new holes for the top fasteners to go into or it will hit your stock GT hood. The cobra hood is shaped differently at the front lip
