Yeah there's a pic of it above.

Thanks man, it is just all aluminum, right off the mill.

They sent black powder coat screws though. I'll contact them on that.

https://www.cp-e.com/products/ford-m...reogauge-bezel

They will finish any way you would like.

Re: Gauge faceplates for CD player?

I've got it narrowed down to Glow Tinted Series
Tinted Series

or

Autometer Cobalt Series
Auto Meter - Gauges

The Glows are about 40% less expensive than AM.

What are my next steps to get this CD player out?

I remove the screws but the bezel seems to be snapped in place...

It should just snap out, it takes some effort but it should pop out.

---------- Post added at 01:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:52 PM ----------

I'm talking about the whole bezel. I tried the keys thing but it didn't work for me.

Yes everything comes out, and it should just pop out on the passenger side.

Latemodel restoration is where I got mine. WheelStander got his directly from the company who makes them.

Ok found this from old ME thread:
How to Install LED lights in your Mustang Gauge Cluster

and I am thinking 1.
194 LED Bulb - 5 LED Wide Angle Wedge Base

1999 Ford Mustang Instrument General LED Replacement Bulbs | LED Lights for Cars | 12v | Super Bright LEDs

You think I should use that bulb so the blue will match my gauges radio and mirror?

I swapped to blue LEDs in cluster looks bad *** and matches my Cobalt gauges, my blue led shift light, my blue readout on my electric mirror(air intake temp/compass/auto-dim) and my blue led on my Kenwood.

I'll shoot a pic at night so you can see it's blue. I ordered WarmWhite because template is blue. With the factory white incandescent bulb giving off a yellow hue, my gauges looked like crap as they appeared in some horrible shade of green, wtf Ford.

Worked out great and easiest update I have done to date, and I've done a lot.

Total time start to finish: 30 minutes and nothing tricky.

I'll do the hvac next week.

Last pic is before, none of them really show the right color though.

Yeah I I match mine to my black cluster.

If you're clusters white you'll have a lot more choices.

---------- Post added at 07:47 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:47 PM ----------

There's not that many gauges with black faces.
