Anyone know of a three-game's plate for the CD player on the 99 GT?

I want to replace my CD player with three gauges is this worth doing or is there something I don't know about that can prevent me from doing this anyone know?

It a 99 GT.

I don't have all 3 gauges yet, but I got mine off LRS. Install was fairly easy, but you will have to modify the gauge mounting brackets to make them fit.

Re: Gauge faceplates for CD player?

Cool thanks!!

This is the one from LMR
1994-00 Mustang 2 1/16" Radio 3 Gauge Panel at LRS - Free Shipping!

and from CPE
https://www.cp-e.com/products/ford-m...reogauge-bezel

They will make any finish you want, so on my order I state "No powder coat-just plain stainless"

Same price.

---------- Post added at 11:39 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:35 AM ----------

And I'm gonna use these to point the gauges toward the driver, thanks to schmokn for these:
http://shopping.rexmar.com/Merchant2...de=gaugebezels

Should look hot with my billet interior.

Re: Gauge faceplates for CD player?

Stupid question...how do I get the shifter bezel and radio trim bezel out, just pull up and yank it out or is it screwed somewhere?

Ok, not at my car atm but I see I have two bolts under the stereo, what about the shifter bezel?

The shifter bezel you yank up and then take the two torx screws out and it should pop out.

So billet face plate I'm thinkin which gages should I use?
And what color rings?

I want to kinda match up my stock interior or whatever.

I wanted Ford racing gauges but they're expensive!

The Ford racing with the black background would've been perfect but I can't spend that much money.

I would go with a darker gauge style to go with the factory gauges and then a billet/chrome piece to angle it.

Re: Gauge faceplates for CD player?

I keep coming back to the Sport Comps:

Mustangs Unlimited - The Premier Source for Mustang, Shelby and Cougar Parts and Accessories

Mustangs Unlimited - The Premier Source for Mustang, Shelby and Cougar Parts and Accessories

With maybe a yellow trim ring bezel? Or is that getting stupid?

Or maybe I should just bite the bullet and go with FR to kinda match the rest of the work/appearence I'm doing? Like my fender badge and my center caps will be FR.

Those sport comps look good. What other colors do you have in your interior? I feel like the trim rings would be a bit much if they are the only yellow pieces in the car.

Yeah I only have Silver and charcoal.

You're right I'll stick to matching trim rings to gauge.

Yeah I see my links don't work.

You're right again, I was leaning towards FR but another look and the sport comps look better.

I ended up just going to their website and looking them up. I like the Ford Racing ones as well but the price just isn't justifiable to me.

Cool gauges I might go with the Elites, I didn't see what size they are. I'm on my iPhone so might have missed it.

Thanks for the lead!

I got mine from here, best company I've dealt with for the stang.

https://www.cp-e.com/products/ford-m...reogauge-bezel
They will finish off any way you like if you don't want black.

Just email them with what you want an they will let you know if they can do it.

Where did you get that silver overlay on your gauge cluster? It looks sick man and it would match my interior perfectly.
