rim swap question

Hello everyone, I'm new to the mustang forum thing, not new to mustangs though...I have a 96 gt with 17 inch cobra rims, I found a new set of staggered 18 inch rims that are only available for 05 and up....I know I can make them fit with 1/2 inch wheel spacers to make up the difference of the offsets. My question is, with the new rims being 9.5 wide in the rear, and 8.5 in the front...will they still clear my fenders with the car being lowered already?
