Was the cause the defrost wire or something in the vert motor? How bad is the interior?

I'm thinking $1000 in repairs
If the convertible motor is okay and the interior
Convertible vinyl cost like 300-400 with glass. Labor another $500. Paint another few hundred.. Least it engines okay!!
