My 01 is doing the same thing. The clip is not broken but it won't snap back into place. It looks like there is a thin piece of two sided tape around the edge but its come lose too. Super glue sound super. Lol!

Use 3m professional mounting tape from autoZone.

I used guerilla glue last week on mine. Strongest glue I tried. It worked perfect.

Guerrila glue works perfect. Holds very strong. I used it on my 96 GT, used painters tape to hold it in place while the glue sets and trimmed off the excess glue after it dried. A week later had to fix some wiring in my door speaker, so had to remove it again. And the door panel cup was easily removed without any damage to door panel. I recommend guerrila glue.
