Wheel spacers?

Would they look good with a 275 rear tire and a lowered mustang? Because I'm thinking of the 1.5 spacer on Americanmuscle.com

Re: Wheel spacers?

1.5 in might be too much. unless you have roled fenders. I've been told that 1" is the best thickness to go with so your not slitting your tires. but ya deffinatly get spacers cause stangs look weird when the car is lowered and the wheel is hiding back in the wheel well

Okay so 1 in probably cause I don't have rolled fenders? Is that all you need is the wheel spacer to do it?

No you will be fine. I ran a 1.25 inch spacer on a 18 inch wheel with a 1.8 inch drop in the back with 275 wide tire

RUNNWILD,

Yeah they'll look great. 1in would be enough to get your wheels flush, if you wanted to poke a little bit then go with the 1.5in Spacer. I had 1in spacers and H&R super sports on 17x10.5 Cobra wheels with 315's on the back with no problems at all.

Let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance!

- Dan

Hey thank you Dan. Also I wanted to ask when does American muscle get there shipments in because the Mach 1 grille delete is out and the chin spoiler? Would the 1.5 in wheel spacers rub with the super sports?

RUNNWLD,

No problem man! You can definitely run the 1.5in spacers, you shouldn't have any issues with that at all.

As far as the Grille Delete/Chin Spoiler we should have them back in stock within a few weeks. As soon as I have a legitimate ETA I'll definitely let you know!

Let me know on the grill delete as well if you wouldn't mind. Bought springs, suspension, and steeda tri ax today and was going to get the grill delete but they were out. It also said the back polyurethane spring isolators were out of stock as well, not sure what issues that will cause. Hope you can get back to me soon

Matticus,

Absolutely, PM me your information and I'll put you on our notify me when back in stock list! Great choice going with the suspension mods and the Shifter, they're both crucial to the comfort and drive ability of your Stang! As far as the isolators go, you can re use the stock ones or get away without them. If you go without them your car will be noticeably lower so definitely plan accordingly!

I hope this helps! We appreciate your business and loyalty. Let me know if you ever have any questions in the mean time.

Yeah you'll be fine with a 275 and a 1.5in spacer. Your car won't travel (hit bumps hard) enough with the H&R's to cause any issues.
