re: Wipers come on by themselves

Find a good shop to diagnose your electrical problem and save you money in the long run. I see a bunch of people trying to fix their cars by replacing (guessing) part after part and still not fixing it. You will save more money with a problem like yours by bringing it to a qualified mechanic.

Hummm... I've seen this before... You'll need a big priest and a small priest. For now, sprinkle holy water over the windshield and chant, "The power of Christ compels you!" Lol, sorry bro, I had to.

re: Wipers come on by themselves

Did u do anything before it started happening? Like replace something or take something apart? If it was me, I'd look for loose ground. But its a long shot but that's a weird problem. Good luck

These problems are most likely unrelated. You might have a bad accessory switch on your wipers.

I have the same problem with mine!!! They come on randomly... I thought it was the wiper motor but it may be the wiring.

I just want to add that I have a 2010 GT and recently had the same problem of the wipers coming on by themselves. I brought it to the dealer and it was the motor. They said it was flooded with water and debris that caused it to short. After a oil change and new motor the whole thing came to $525.00. This is the 2nd time now this has happened to me.
