According to Wiki they did have an S281 3V Vert and an H281 3V heritage that's naturally aspirated.

Re: S281 Saleen Question

seems most saleen S281's are not supercharged, just normal GT's with bodykit or bodykit and suspension etc~ think of it as different packages

show, handling, and go (with of course other options here and there)

Re: S281 Saleen Question

The supercharger was optional on the 96-04 S281's. Yes, they did offer a non-S/C version, basically the body kit and suspension. At least on the 99-04's, the non-S/C cars came with under-drive pulleys and a chip. Easiest way to tell the S/C from non-S/C cars is look for the heat exchanger in the center opening of the front bumper.

For the 05+, they also offered S/C and non-S/C versions.
