Whats your opinion?

I am going to buy a tuner. I'm going with one from AM because I like BAMA and I want free tunes for life. I can't decide whether to save a few bucks and get the SF3/X3 or spend more and get the SCT iTSX wireless tuner. The iTSX is controlled from your iPhone. I feel like the iTSX could be better in the long run with updates and such. It seems as though it could be more interactive and allow me to view more. The SF3/X3 has a small black and white screen, while the iTSX has a whole app. The iTSX is $90 more expensive though. What do you guys think? Is it worth the extra cash or not?

If you have the money, go for the better one. It will be more impressive for showing off and just kinda cool to mess with. They should both have the same result, so in the grand scheme of things it really doesnt matter.

When I first got my tuner I did the tunes myself but now I'm supercharged so my dyno shop does all my tuning, the diablo sport intune really helps and let's you control the tunes yourself , with the live data logging feature you can get your tune pretty spot on by yourself. If you don't want to tune yourself IMO I would go to a dyno shop and have them tune your car, all those canned tunes suck IMO and the free tunes for life stuff is crap because after your bolt on's are done they can't tune for anything else.

JetLife 01GT,

I don't think you can go wrong. The SF3 and iTSX are both great items. They'll both deliver the same tune to your car. If you plan on doing more then just tuning your car and driving it then I may lean towards the iTSX. Because of ability to view everything through your Iphone or Ipad!

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any further questions!

I'm sorry that you weren't happy with your Bama tune. This is not the type of feedback I'm used to hearing, however it's just as important as positive so I know what we can work on!

As far as being "to heavily modified" for most people that isn't until pretty far down the road. Most customers get a ton of revisions before needing a Dyno tune, and some never need a Dyno tune. We can tune for all bolt ons, some cams, up to a 100shot of nitrous and some supercharged cars/all factory supercharged cars. Some cars are just to heavily modified to get the tune spot on without the car in front of us. However all of the items I listed can definitely be tuned for you by Bama!

I would hate to loose your business over something that can be easily fixed. If you don't mind, shoot me a PM with your order number included and I'll have my head tuning specialist Mike Wilson contact you directly!

Rm360,

Our tunes are actually entirely custom and hand written. For every Bama Tune we ask you 19 questions about your specific Mustang, including your unique mods and style of driving. This info helps us write custom tunes from the ground-up for your Mustang's mods that will give you the most horsepower that we can safely deliver. We're also constantly developing our tunes! Between our 14 different Project Mustangs and tons of street/track and dyno testing (on our in-house Dynojet 224xLC), we're looking for any minor tweaks to be made that can benefit you guys.

We'll always go the extra mile to make sure all of our customers are satisfied. I hope this helps clear things up a bit, let me know if you have any questions!

- Dan
