Brake Rattle

So I just replaced my front pads because they were worn and I now have a rattle. Pulled the rotor and turned them because I thought maybe they were uneven and the rattle persists. I think now that maybe the caliper bolts aren't torqued down and causing slight movement. The rattle is from BOTH sides of the car. Anybody have any other ideas? Thanks!

Re: Brake Rattle

It is constant when no brake is applied. When I apply the brakes it pretty much stops.

Make sure you have the correct pads for your car. I have a friend that just went thru the same things on a civic and broke the pad on the driver side. When he took it back, another sales rep told him he had the wrong application for his car.

Yea. I had that happen on my Honda before i sold it. Also make sure u tighten all the bolts down to the right specs. Don't need ur brakes falling off goin down the road.
