Cutting out rear 2 cats?

Ey guys I'm 16 and my parents aren't cool with and off road mid pipe, I can cut the rear 2 cats out. How much louder will this make my car?

Yeah will it be comparable to a carted mid pipe? Because the rear cats are pretty big

Re: Cutting out rear 2 cats?

it'll be a very noticable difference since the front cats are only warm up cats and quite tiny..although an o/r pipe would be easier. me thinks your parents will just rip into you for cutting your OE midpipe up just to go over them....btw do you have an emissions county?

No emissions but parents who sleep while I drive to the gym at 6 in the morning, and a cop for a neighbor!

have you considered instead of an o/r pipe look into a hi flow midpipe...you'd keep your parents happy, and still get a sound boost. remember you're 16 and your life with your car can be made easier or harder.

Yeah I don't have the money for a carted mid-pipe ATM, have to wait for summer so I can work again. I was just hoping for a cheap/quick sound boost

Re: Cutting out rear 2 cats?

EBay has hi flo cats for $50 piece. Buy off road pipe used $100. 2 cats for $100, so $200 for catted pipe.
