Lowered the stang today!

Just got done lowering my stang today! It is supposed to be lowered 1.25 in the back and 1.5" in the front. The front looks really good but the back looks like nothing changed... if anything got higher! whats goin on? did i miss something or is this common? please help!

I've read that it takes some time for the new spring( shocks) to settle down before you see the actual height reduction.

it takes a few days to fully settle in. what springs u got?

they are DNA ford mustang lowering springs. I got them brand new off ebay.

i got dropzone springs off ebay. i wasnt happy with the rear drop either. but since u barely put it on put as much weight as u can in ur trunk for a few days. cement bags or weight sets etc.. the weight will compress the springs

Maybe your other springs were just so worn that they lowered themselves, making these look taller?

could be true but compared to other cars that i see on this sight mine looks to high!! we'll see in a few days!! got some big rocks in the back now!!

When I did my lowering springs my back didn't change either so I talked to a few guys who told me to put heavy stuff in my trunk for a while to allow it to settle quicker. I put 4 things of 36 pack waters over each wheel weld for a month and noticed a huge difference and it probably move a less than a quarter inch back.
