Kenne Bell BAP

I know it connects to the connector in the truck, the kit did not come with the control box. Im confused on where the two wires that run from the BAP in the trunk to the engine bay, what do they hook too? It comes with a switch ( kinda like a coolant temp sensor) but I dunno where the switch hooks up to on the Supercharger. Can anyone post a picture or something in that nature of how they have it hooked up in the engine bay?

Here you go sorry it took so long , the wires hook to the chrome selinoid , then the fuel line gets branched in with a tee and runs to the rails and the diaphragm looking peice on top of the cooling tube and the square box under the diaphragm

Re: Kenne Bell BAP

Thanks for the pictures.....I wish i would have saw this earlier cuz I called Kb and they talked me through it. But Silver round thing gets spliced into the line with the bypass valve and the FRPS and then the line goes on the barb thats pretty much right under the EGR valve right?

If you do some research online most tuners bypass the boost hobs switch and wire it on full time for safety. I also would recommend wiring your boost a pump pre fpdm with an 8ga wire upgrade I have mine wired this way. Lethal performance sells a BAP wire upgrade kit. What fuel system are you running

Just cut out the hobbs switch. The two wires that go to the switch just get tied together to complete the circuit. I dont think ive ever seen anyone actually use it

So just hook it up like they want you too in the trunk? Then, don't run the wire to the switch in the engine compartment instead tie them together ?

ohok, gotcha....

So the roll over switch in the little black box that has the red button that you have to press if you were hit right?

Anyway, the wire it tells me to cut is the pink/black strip wire. Ok, so do I run one red wire from the Bap to the one end of the pink wire then the other red wire with the fuse to the other end of the pin wire like you are bridgeing it ?

---------- Post added at 06:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:56 PM ----------

Oh, and what exactly does the hob switch do?

Just follow the wiring diagram I posted and you will be fine. Yes you want to cut the black/ pink wire and wire in the BAP.

Sorry man, I was on my phone and couldnt see the diagram. I noticed on the diagram it has cutting and wiring the bap into the black/pink wire. In the install manual it says to splice the pink/black wire....whats the difference because I see both of them

Can you post your wiring diagram in your manual. Cutting and splicing should be the same thing.

Re: Kenne Bell BAP

It wont let me post a picture keeps saying something about a token or something but with your diagram and according to the page in the packet I have a idea now. In your diagram it says the black/pink wire from fuel interna switch and fpdm. On the FPDM connector the black/pink wire goes somewhere else other then the fuel interna. Well on my setup the wire from he fuel interna to the FPDM is pink and black. Make sense? My car is a 2000, so the whole point is to wire the BAP into the wire thats comes from the fuel interna switch to the FPDM, right?

Yes as long as your doing the wire upgrade and installing the relay. If your not doing the wiring upgrade then leave it on the brown/pink wire
