CEL comes on with MILe eliminators!

Can any body tell me why I still get a p0420 code and this is my second set of MIL eliminators from AM. Im running an SLP off-road X with loudmouth 1's, 4 new o2 sensors and stock exhaust manifolds. Im on a 93 octane tune from sct and I use mostly Chevron 93 fuel, if that matters.

Re: CEL comes on with MILe eliminators!

sometime mil eliminators don't do the trick...try going to any auto parts store and buying two spark plug non foulers thats the same thread size as your o2 sensors...drill a 1/2 hole in the base of the non foulers...put them into where your o2's go and screw the o2's into the non foulers..reset the light and take it for a spin. easiest way i know of to fool the system and works most of the time for $5 in parts lol

Thanks, I'll go to the store in the morning and purchase the non foulers, I'll update a soon so can on the progress, you would think that the MIL eliminators would be enough but I guess not.

You still have 4 O2 sensors?
I thought the MIL Eliminators were used to allow you to do away with the 2 after cat O2 sensors?

They plug in between the the rear o2 sensors wire harness and the o2 sensors, doesn't eliminate them.

I see. Those are for use with high flow cats.
I think there is another type that allows you to completely do away with the rear sensors, when using an off road H or X-pipe but I'm not 100% sure.
