2001 GT service engine light

Hey all,
My service engine soon light keeps popping on but only on the ride home from work. It starts idling rough too and major loss of power. Is she dying or do I have a simple issue with my egr or some oxygen sensor? Anyone have this issue?

You'll either need to buy a code ready or go to autozone and have them get the code. You may not be able to read the code when the light isn't on and its a good idea to have ur own code ready. So when ur goin down the road and the light pops on, read the code. That will tell you what it is or give a good indication as to what it is that is wrong. Sounds like u have a coil failing but I need to know what the code is to be more sure.
