I like the look of them done right, so i don't exclude it 100% as a sin. If it is clean or it serves a purpose it is good in my book.

You are much more tolerable to them than I am. His reason is justified, that's about the only time I'll accept it. Now for looks, nope, just no.

Honestly I'm not looking into this as an option of design, looks or desire. I need to be able to open the doors and get out of the car. If this car was to go back to the states with me the first thing I would do is revert to stock hinges. I will upload a pic of the parking spot at my house. The doors either touch a cement wall on one side or a metal fence on the other.

From the kits I've seen they have the appearance of exotic cars with vertical doors but in operation they dont. You have to open the door out and it catches and then you swing it up to get in the car opposed to opening the door all the way. Opposed to exotic cars that actually have the door/latch in a single motion. In my opinion the open normally and swing up feels kind of cheap and is more of a show thing but to each his own. Not sure if all kits are like that but those are the only aftermarket ones I've seen.

Japanese have invented the door mod that slides under your car. Probably wont work on a mustang but just thought id through that fun fact out there.

Been here 25 years and haven't seen that. Doubt that would be possible since this car is sitting low on Eibachs. Heck of an idea though.

Rocking that Yankee plate. Love it. I say weld the door shut and start going dukes of hazard style.

Lol I've had worse to get in and out of in the states but yeah that sucks. And that's probably a lot more room than you have parking elsewhere.

I dunno I mean there are conversion kits made for these cars...

In other news, not sure how many junkyards or secondhand parts distributors but I know if I was you I would be pulling as many export tails and fender flares as I could and selling them in the States.
