Head light knob removal

I'm trying to remove the headlight knob but that thing is glued on like a mf. Tips?

There is a slot, rotate it and you will see it. Use a small screwdriver, put it in parallel to the slot then slowly pry it out. It works like a Chinese finger trap lol
