vin code

Whats the different in code mean for the 2v motor i seen the eighth digit is v then i seen x...

Could be the difference between a Romeo or a Windsor engine.

Windsor was built in Michigan, and Romeo in Canada. Heads are not interchangeable. Windsor are aluminum, and Romeos are iron. Romeos, can withstand larger bores, vs Windsor because its alu. Windsor are more common on later 99-2004 models but I don't know which ones.
