Do I need dust boot for MGW short throw? - Mustang Evolution

Do I need dust boot for MGW short throw?

I am about to purchase a MGW 3650 shifter and I seen a dust boot option. Do I need that or just the shifter itself. It's gonna be purchased on MGW's website.

back when I purchased mine it came with one, send them an email and see why its an option vs part of the package.

hmmm odd I see the option you are talking about. It would be better to be safe than sorry, but you can always contact them to ask them whats up with it and does anything come with it or are you to reuse the stock stuff. Many of them tear overtime anyway~

this could allow dust into the trans tunnel and down into the trans as well if you didnt have one.

Absolutely necessary, no; highly desirable and well worth every penny of $8, YES...
