You probably won't hate it. Especially if you plan on more power within the next few years

Even though they say "the friction modifier is already in there" I still added it to mine along with Royal Purple.

Ford Friction Modifier

...Autozone may sell it too.

You could go thicker, defiantly wouldn't go any thinner, and as long as you got everything lined up and shimmed properly there shouldn't be any whine

Mine had a chip in the PCM. Once I removed it, it worked fine. I'd check your PCM first. It could save you some money removing it yourself.

The only other reason I would think that it wouldn't take a tune would be if it's in theft mode, but then you wouldn't be drivin it.. Or if it has been tripped into limp mode, but I doubt that Cause u still been drivin it... So it just bout has to have a previous tune somewhere down the line

That's why I got mine turned. It was $65 through the dealer. I'm not sure where they took it. You could see if you have any machine shops around your area. They should be able to tell you if it is in too bad if shape to turn. I really wanted a new one too, but everything seems okay so far.
