replacing a roof on a mustang, has anyone done this?

my 04 GT is a light roll over...with a slightly bent roof, i'm not sure it may can be straighted, but if not, has anyone on here replaced the roof panel with a new roof or a used roof from a donar junkyard car?

I looked on you tube to see if i could find a vid, but none found.
thanks in advance.

It would be a very difficult job and if you took it somewhere it would prolly cost a grand or 2, prolly be better off to take it to a body shop and see if they can pull the dents or beat them back down then fill the rest

I haven't seen it done, but I know a guy on one of my local forums chopped his off so he could weld up a roll cage and then he welded it back on.

I take it you rolled it and insurance is not involved?

i bought it as a light roll over... i origionally wanted to just buy it for parts to make a few bucks, but its hard for me to let a mustang go...
so after looking at it for a little while and an older gentleman telling me the roof possibly could be repaired or even replaced for a reasonable amount of money, I started looking at you tube and found where they removed a roof from a donor cougar and replaced one that had a vinyl top...
it seems pretty straight forward,
remove the trim
remove the glass
remove the headliner
drill out the spot welds
clean it all up
reweld the spot welds
I was just curious as many mustang guys/gals that ME has that maybe just maybe a couple of them may happen to work at a body shop and have seen or done this before, or knew a shop that had.
any help you guys can give is greatly appreciated

trim removed, windshield removed, all excess glass vacuumed out of interior, and the roof is looking better, not sure if it can be saved or not, I will get a professionals opinion soon.
oh yea as a side note, the side trim over the door has clips PLUS 3 screws holding it on, I broke one of the side trim pieces before I realized it had the three additional screws, just a FYI in case anyone else has to remove theirs for some reason.
