Plasti dip

I have chrome rims and was wondering if could plasti dip for the winter. Would the plasti dip come off or would it stay

For either phrasing of the question, it's sturdy enough to where it won't come off unless you make it come off lol. But it will come off once you peel it.

I'm wanting to put it on for the winter so the salt on the roads doesn't ruin the chrome. So what I guess I want to know is if the plasti dip will stay on throughout the winter

Yes it should. As long as you don't rub a curb or anything.
