Transmission question

I need to get a new transmission where on the transmission is the part number to identify it. I want to make sure im getting the right one.

Go to mps auto salvage got tons of transmission for reasonable price

Mps is over priced check local salvage yards first. Bought mine freshly rebuilt for $400.

Its an 03 gt with an automatic i found a transmission from a 2000 gt automatic am i gonna have any problems with compatibility?

I've got a 03 gt with a automatic tranny, I'm converting to a manual though so I'll sell you mine if you want

Shouldn't have any problems at all. Same tranny

Thats what i thought but the numbers on the tag were different so i just wanted to make sure.........thanks
