tuner for a manual??

I know that tuner from Bama will help an automatic a lot but does it help the manuals as well? Is it worth it for a manual? On my 2006 v6 I know it was worth it haha

Hell yeah! Way better throttle response!! All a tuner does for an automatic is firm up the shift points. The power u feel from a tuner will be the same in auto and manual. Get it, you won't regret it

Get a tuner! One of my favorite mods by far, I have a manual and love mine. I have full bolt on's and with the tuner it kinda makes all the mods work like one. Throttle response is way better and you also get better gas mileage with it.

The tuner and intake is a great combo, without the tuner the intake is kinda pointless.
The exhaust will really help out you will have alot of air coming in from the intake and alot leaving from the Flowmasters. You may notice a difference in sound with the tuner too. Before I had mine, my exhaust sounded good then I hooked up the tuner and it changed the tone a little.

+1. I tuned to 93, and get better mileage than lower octanes.

Not me, I tried every combo possible.
My best gas mileage comes from 87 octane with the 87 street tune.
When I run 93 octane my car runs really good it just burns through the fuel so fast. I get about 18 city 24 highway on 87.
On 93 I get about 14 city 18 highway.
Guess every car is different and I'm sure different mods make didn't MPG.

I know this may sound dumb but I've only had my manual for a month or so and I can burnout but how do you shift into second when your rpms go up with out the car moving!? If possible

A line lock will keep you from moving allowing u to shift without moving.

Yeah line lock will take care of that but I personally like the little movement because when I shift into second I kick the a$$ end out a bit with the wheels turned a lil bit looks bad a**!!! And foot on both break and clutch is damage waiting to happen somewhere lol

rodrigo9,

It will definitely make a huge difference no matter what transmission you have. An Automatic will benefit a little bit more because we have full control over the shift points table. However, regardless of the transmission you'll notice a huge gain in power, torque, acceleration, throttle response and much more!

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

Thanks Dan! Would a tuner aline be okay or would I need the cai? It's going to have the Flowmaster exhaust on it?

I hate to be a pain but can u post article on sn95? I'm about to pull the trigger on a tuner from AM. When I Google it, there's a few people that weren't satisfied and put it down bad.

If u can't, its cool. Thanks
