Air bag and battery light 2000 gr

What causes these two dashboard lights to come on?

My battery light cuts on and off idk why it's been like this forever. Hopefully someone can answer this.

for a battery the battery or an alternator problem will set off the light on the dash. as for the air bag it can be a sensor for the air bag system, or a blown or deleted air bag, bad air bag module or clockspring can set off the air bag light. also on the air bag it can be a fuse or the air bag sensor thats on the steering wheel.

Yeah same thing here it was on and then it stayed on for like ten mins then cut off.

I would check the wires for corrosion or to see if they are loose that could also cause it to show the battery symbol

o/r x-pipe flow master 40 series dump downs, cai/ram intake, 75mm c&l throttle body and plenum, pi heads and intake swap, msd wires, stock gears, untuned at the moment, no dyno numbers for now.
