i have a family member that is looking for a 2003 gt engine and i was wondering is there anywhere that i could find one for a decent price or is there a site online that i could find one. it can be stock, used, but low miles. please help

Has your family member tried Jasper engines and transmissions? My Dad's civil engineering company had one of their engines replaced with one. This worked out great for him as he was not planning on doing any of the work. I believe it was a 305 GM small block. I'm sure they have 4.6L 2v's these days.

Another option, if they are planning on doing some or all of the work is a local auto scrap yard. You can probably pickup a 4.6L pretty cheap. Maybe even one that's ready to run without a rebuild.

Of course, there's always Ford Racing 4.6L Aluminator 4V short block. You could talk to 32vNomad about a 4V DOHC engine swap for your family members 2003 GT.
