Help pricing

Okay guys, I've finally decided to bite the bullet and upgrade to a cobra, so I'm going to have to let the GT go unfortunately. It isn't for sale yet, my reason for posting here and not in classifieds, but I'd like to try to get a good pricing for it. I'll have to kind of break it into several posts since I am on the app and don't have much space until I can't see what I'm typing anymore.

---------- Post added at 02:50 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:47 PM ----------

Mod lists: BBK CAI, KYB shocks and struts, Lowered on SR springs, Bassani o/r x pipe, Flowmaster American thunder catbacks. 3.73 gears (and have a set of 4.10s I was going to put in but probably won't now)

---------- Post added at 02:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:50 PM ----------

163k miles, runs great, no engine problems whatsoever. Also forgot it has a steeda short throw shifter and a Bama SCT tuner and working Sirius radio. I'll post pictures in a bit.

To be perfectly honest, you'll be lucky to pull in around 8k. You didn't mention a year, so I'm assuming 01-04. With that many miles, these cars just don't hold value unless you're in a big city or college town where stupid kids pay more than its worth.
I'm sitting at 121k with 4.10s, plenum, tb, MGW, brand new H&R springs and Tokico blue struts and I'd be thrilled to get 8,500 if I sold it.
Unfortunately, the mods you and I have really kill our sales market. Most smart adults don't want something that has work done on it because they don't know how reliably it's been done.
Your best bet would be to grab as close to 8 or 9 as you possibly can and get a loan for the remaining 10k on the cobra (assuming you're getting a terminator - I'd be extremely hesitant of a termi for less than 17-18k).

It's an 01, sorry I didn't mention, and around 8-9 is what I was thinking too. I'm actually in the market for a 99-01 cobra, I've seen some nice looking ones under 100k miles for 10-12, so I think I can manage the difference or take a small personal loan.

I sold my 02 gt with 135k miles with a bunch of mods for 6500. It had some body damage that was going to be 7-800 bucks to fix up. And I bought my 01 cobra with 74k for 6500 lol.

Unless your car isn't running right, 3k is a joke.
