Mustang GT Question/Help!?

Hey, so im looking for my first car. Ive already figured out insurance and such so thats not a problem. I found this http://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/ctd/1274405186.html .

Its a 1995 Mustang GT, however it is a convertible... What are your thoughts on convertibles? Are they more for females and such? What do you think?

the trouble with convertibles is the top, it's canvas and the sun rots it, then it's expensive to replace.. the boy racers don't like them because they are a little a heavier than a hardtop coupe and lighter is faster..

Mustang GT Question/Help!?

My family has been with Ford for a long time, so I would take my word for what I'm telling you.

Ok, go for the Hardtop Convertible. hardtops are always more reliable than soft tops. Or simply in my opinion forget the convertible, look for a hardtop.

And yes convertibles look much more feminine than any other type of car.

If you can afford the insurance for a Mustang can you not afford a newer car?
