Car air conditioner not working properly?

Its a 2002 ford mustang gt, i have tried the refrigerant and the level is fine and wont take any. So here is the problem, my air isn't blowing cold. It blows just slightly colder from the drivers side vent but not much colder. the compressor is squeaking a little but i think it is working because when the refrigerant gauge is on there the needle moves when the compressor kicks on. i think there is a vacuum hose broke somewhere or some kind of vacuum controlled valve isn't working. i just dont know where these valves are, or what they are. i have looked under the hood and couldn't find any vacuum lines that were broken. any help would be much appreciated!!!

There is not much vacuum control to the system in that car . Everything you are looking for is inside under the dash . If you don't know what you are doing , trust me is will be a lot cheaper to find a good tech . Best way to find the right person , is to find an older parts man , someone with some experience , not some young kid that only knows what the parts computer tells him . That person will know the best places around town to take a car to depending on what needs to be done .

A/C systems are NOT easy to work on, if the pulley clutch is engaging than it sound to me like you might have a leak. I would usually try to explain how to repair yourself but A/C systems can be complicated. I suggest taking it in to a auto repair shop.

your vacumm lines would control the flaps which guide the air flow. most likely the fan is defective, or maybe a blown fuse.
