Most potential buyers will be turned off by your custom tuning and changes to the car. It implies that you have also made other modifications and that maybe you didn't do a very good job. Your only potential customers will be the very few people who are looking for exactly the kind of mods that you've made. Keep advertising it and you'll eventually find that person.

I would suggest that you downplay the mods, especially if they don't dramatically change the way the car looks or runs. I sense that you think the mods are a big selling point, but it may be just the opposite.

First, its a gas eater nowadays and second, its consider a sports car because of its crazy hp on local roads. If you want to sell it fast like others, most people look for economy type of cars and sedan like. Since the economy is not so great at the moment. Maybe after the gas price lowers to near $3's then you can probably have a slight chance.

02 GT, V8 right? That's your first problem...with the price of gas nowadays people are trying desperately to purchase economical cars with a 4 cyl engine to save themselves some money in the long run.

It's not that your car is overpriced, it's just that such a car isn't really in demand right now.

2002 wasn't a very good year for mustang, the wheels they used on the stock GT were ugly and the body has some awkward lines. Hold out for awhile if you can, see if gas prices go down. Your price is decent.

People who would buy your car wouldn't care about the gas mileage. I'm selling a Vette and I have the same issue. Its not the car, its the economy that is keeping people from buying a toy car.

Lets see, Mustang GT, which usually has a V-8, and the current prices of gasoline? Hmm, that's a tough one there.

NADA hasn't taken into account the price of gas (kbb and edmunds haven't either) and are still listing V-8's in all their forms a lot higher than what people are actually willing to pay.
