trouble code issue

ok first off let me give you the specs
04 gt 5sp
mods,
CAI
offroad x pipe
mil eliminaters
duel flomasters
pro5.0 shifter.

now the codes im receiving are

p0060 - hearter resitance bank 2 sensor 2
and
p2272 - signal stuck lean bank 2 sensor 2.

now the question is what do you think it is? did the MIL eliminator go bad or is it something else? all opinions welcome.

Re: trouble code issue

change passenger rear o2 or mil, to test if its the mil, switch the rear o2s and see if it goes to bank 1, if it does then its not an mil eliminator, its definitly a rear sensor problem. mils dont delete the sensor, they just change the signal so it is still possible to have a bad sensor.

With a tuner you can disable the rear O2's, so they would never be a problem down the road.

My link was in regards to the mil eliminators you were talking about. Check their site for the price...you asked for a place to get them for a good price...

It is a pile o turd. But, that is always up to each person's discretion. For me, the MGW has felt the best so far. I was introduced to the pro 5.0 last week looking at a GT for mikey...and that shifter was barely better than stock to me...his current car has the MGW like my car has, and it is just butter.

Testing on his won't help you out since his clutch is all fubared. it will feel all stiff and sticky and such. I have one in my car and you can check it out anytime. Yeah, ours are different, but the T56 is by far a more sticky trans than yours, so if you think it is nice on mine, it will only be better on yours.

If Jarrod doesn't have any at his shop, PM AtomicPerformance and see if they do have them. I've found parts through a PM that I couldn't find on the site a few times.

Re: trouble code issue

WELL. looks like I wont be getting a mil eliminator any time soon :angryfire and I dont wanna tune it cause I dont wanna use 93oct. I see no reason to tune the car now cause I dont have enough stuff done to justify it.

Re: trouble code issue

You don't have to use 93 with a tune, a tune can be made for any octane level.

Why won't you be getting a mil anytime soon?

Hey man, Thanks for the inquiry. Unfortunately they were just made illegal to sell by the epa. The only other way to turn that off is to buy a tuner. Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing one of those. Thanks again, Jeff

Ouch...hope you have a hookup for inspections then if you aren't going to get a tuner...or if a shop doesn't have any in stock.

Man you need to tune the car. It's a great idea, and you do not have to run 93 octane as Rob said. Simply, get and use the economy tool for the better gas mileage, and when you go to the track or dink around, you put it on aggressive and throw 93 in the vehicle.

Not really....just going to see the check engine light...then when you get the tuner, clear the codes and get the rear o2's disabled and see if any codes come back.
