Will a "Heli-Coil" come out if I replace the spark plugs?

I drive a 2003 Mustang GT and about 2 years ago spit a spark plug. I brought it back to the dealer under warranty where they did a heli coil. (Looking back at it, I wish they replaced the heads instead). But my question is; if I go to do a tune up on the car, is there a huge chance that the heli coil will come out when I take the spark plug out?

I've never heard of it happening. Those things go in tight and expand (unwind) against the metal they are put in.

Helicoil is the preferred way of fixing spark plug holes. The other spark plug holes in your head may strip out (Ford has been having a tough time of that lately) but that one won't.

Only if it was installed incorrectly. And even if it did, you'd just put it or a new one in. You could just put it on the new plug.
