Glassroof

So i saw a Mustang today with a glass roof, it was like a 2011 or something but anyway does anybody think it would be possible to glass roof a 99-04 Mustang?

With enough money anything is possible... It will most likely be extremely difficult, for one you will need a piece of glass fabricated to the shape of your roof. Then they will probably have to alter the frame for it, and reinforce the body like it is a convertible. The glass roof is a factory option on new mustangs so it is all done in house. That's all how i think it would be done. Someone else may have better knowledge of this.

Thats some good knowledge as far as i know but it was just something i thought of today and wanted to get opinions

Yea i'm not extremely great with the mechanical side of things, i can think of the concepts behind most stuff... But my guess is that it will take a bit of work if done.

Its a good idea i mean i was considering doin a sunroof on my 96 cause i say an 04 stang with one. Or even considering t tops on mine something uniquely distinctive

not a fan of the glassroof. they look ok but i wouldnt want one
