KYB Shocks

What is the difference between KYB Gas-A-Just shocks and KYB GR-2/Excel G shocks?

gas-a-shocks are basically stock replacements...the excels are oe style, but slightly better...

Why are the gas-a-just shocks more expensive if the gr-2/excel g are slightly better?

you tell me lol...my theory is because sticking the term oem replacement over oe style makes something cost more in alot of parts. although i just replaced my rears today for some monroe sensa-traks and couldn't be happier for $31 a pop...now the fronts i'm gonna order adjustables online, but the backs i just wanted something decent that wouldn't break the bank

LOL. Yeah I'm gonna get the KYB's because I want to keep a smoother ride. I know they don't help much for handling but I also don't get to the track much. I need shocks and struts for my new h&r ss's

yeah here's what i replaced today lol..i'd say after 8+ years my rear shocks were due a swap. especially now that i'm lowered...

the old ones couldn't even support their own weight
