Yes seal it, I got my new ones in the mail today too, they had some factory sealing in it but I sealed it with rtv clear silicone, get it in a little handy dandy tube at any hardware store, cost like 5 bucks

Scared of what? Siliconing it? Or leaving it how it is, def be way more afraid to leave it than seal it..every single headlight I've every purchased or seen purchased by a buddy, that wasnt sealed, even tho it was factory sealed, have condensated , which makes your lights look like ***** in just a few months....SEAL THEM!!!

Okay this might seem like a stupid question but awhile back i did a project and refurbished headlights on my sc400. And within a month they had moisture inside. I only put the rubber tube ( did not plug it ) on and sealed it all around the edges. By sealing do you mean filling in the hole where the rubber tube is? Or just putting clear sealer alll around the sealed spots around the headlights? I plan to buy some halo lights soon, thanks.

If I can add to this. I replaced my headlights about 6 months ago. Sealed them like they need to be, but on the back of the light where the bulb goes in there is a plastic piece that screws on and has a rubber seal. The seal is cracked and that is how I am getting moisture in my lens. Does anyone know if I can replace that plastic piece? Where can I find one?

I've had a buddy run into that, he just siliconed it and if he ever had to change his bulb the silicone comes right off with a simple knife or razor blade
