Catalytic converter

Are the catalytic converters the same for v6s and v8s on these 99-04 years? I'm looking for a replacement since I scraped mine and it rattles. Or are they completely different?!

Sorry guys I was talking about the stock H pipe.. My mistake.. I was wondering if the stock H pipes are the same.

the v6's dont have h pipes. they have y pipes

Yea just make sure they're 2 1/4". You could buy used off road pipe and weld hi Flo cats on that, depending if u need cats for emmissions or not.

There's not much a welder/shop can't do to an exhaust for the right amount of money lol.
