As far as I know, you shouldn't. It also may depend on if it is self-lubricated or if you have to tap the oil pan. I'm not sure what all kits have to do that, but I believe I've seen some that do. Someone else may can follow up on that.

Question: will I be able to keep my stock injectors while I'm still all motor (heads cams intake, and of course forged bottom end)?

I highly doubt it. I honestly don't know but you would max them out pretty fast with a full head/cam/intake swap

I honestly don't know anything about what kind of injectors to run. I would assume something in the low thirties would work. Maybe you could shoot SouthernStang a PM, he ran a H/C/I setup for a while before his Kennel Bell went on.

Would I need adapters to run them?

No adapters thats what Iam running in my 2v. 03/04 cobra injectors will not work unless you have adapters.

Or you could set that money aside and keep saving for the MMR kit! That Cobra R hood would look great with the Roush kit though

I thought about that but I really need a cherry picker and engine stand before I can even pull my motor so the good and those sound like my best bet, plus I can try to sell the gt hood once I get the new one

Been looking around bored, anyone on here running a kb or any roots charger on a 99-04 2v? I might try to go that route in the long run but I'd like some tips and pointers on the build and maintenance of a roots blower

I would assume maintenance is the same as my buddies Whipple on his GT500, his instructions said change the oil every 100K miles, but I think he does it every 15K or 20K. Southernstang went with a KB along RM360 if I remember right

How is it gonna run you 20K for a 2V? Is that for a full drivetrain build as well?

I was just throwing a number out lol just because 2Vs are expensive, for just motor I think it will be around 10k or so I ment end up buying a mmr block instead of bottom end kit

Ok quick question I'm thinking going stage 2 comp cams from AM instead of getting a cowl good so when I rebuild my motor just to drive this summer ill already be crammed, do I HAVE to get a tune with stage 2 cams, and do I HAVE to get the cam gears they offer or would I be fine with new valve springs and retainers

If you want more power out of the cams id get a tune. And i believe you need the cam gears because stock ones are press on.

Well I really would just like to have a good sounding car for awhile , while I save up more money to build it and I was hoping I could do it with no tune and make a little bit of power
