Mach 1 shaker on GT

I wanna put the Mach 1 shaker on my 04 GTand I was wondering if anyone has done this before, I know I have to change the hood but what other parts are needed.. Is it a bolt on piece? Any tips or trick when going thru this conversion?
Oh btw I don't wanna go w the CDC shaker I wanna do the OEM Mach 1 shaker
Thanks!

There is pry alot of fab work sence the Mach 1s were 4v's with a whole different intake manifold. You could pry buy the kit they make to do it with the stock hood and go out and find a Mach 1 hood but dont take my word on it.

Holcomb motorsports might be a place to start. I was looking thru one of their catalogs and I saw a kit minus hood for 05-09 mustang by ford racing for about 750$. I know that is the wrong year, but they might have the proper kit that they just haven't advertised.

http://www.americanmuscle.com/shaker-hood-kit.html

Its gonna be hard to find a stock mach 1 hood let alone the price of one. Cjponyparts.com has a carbon fiber version but its around $850 for just the hood. Then you have to buy the shaker system its not cheap. Then have to fabricate it to raise it high enough to pop out of the whole just right on the factory Mach 1 hood. Your looking about $2k for everything that route. The kit I attached is nice but not the same and still requires fabrication. Trust me when I say this "it would be easier to sell your car and buy a Mach 1".

I was looking at a mustang before I bought this one and he had a switched good and shaker from a Mach and he fabbed up brackets to hold it above the engine
Then the tube from the hood still pointed to the filter
