3.8 bore Street car?

I'm looking at building my gt with doing a big bore setup with the 3.8 bore but I'm just kinda questioning how well it would do as a street car. I was told by doing the block bore and resleeving it cuts into the water jackets and cooling becomes somewhat of an issue. By street car I mean a weekend driver and fun time toy not a DD. I really wanna do the big bore to clear up the valves from the cylinder walls. Especially with my trick flows, to get as much flow as possible. If its not advisable I guess I will pass on it.

This will also have a KB 2.6h on it so if that will creat more problems with heating. 02 cast iron gt block.
