First post in this section

What's up guys, I'm new to this section but been in the v6 section for awhile. Earlier today I bought my 2002 gt, slightly modded with relatively low price. The mods are as follows Hopefully when I post more pics someone can help me identify the body kit on it, the owner has no idea, thinks it may be Roush.

3.73 gears
Short throw shifter mach 1 shift knob
20 inch Voxx rims
Diabo tune
Smoked headlights
JVC head unit
Police radar jammer
35% tints all around
Might be forgetting something but, I'm pretty happy. Paid 8200 for the car, only has 65k miles. Which for my area is very cheap.

Yeah, the kid who sold me the car was real up front about it. He says having the radar jammer hooked up in a felony. So he leaves unplugged. I'm not too sure weather to believe him or not, but turns out he knows his stuff. Talked about the Coyote motor for awhile, told me he originally bought the car from another mustang enthusiast who put on all the mods. Also forgot to mention it has a bassani catback exhaust, minus the cats. Has MIL eliminators though. Loud as all hell, and i love it.

lol well you might as well trash your "jammer"...if it's even a k series jammer it's of no use now. Police radar systems have been equipped for a few years now to know when their signal is being distorted by a jammer...so you'd be even more screwed because it is a felony like he told you thanks to the FCC rules...in fact some states even make Laser dectectors illegal due to FCC rules.

Yeah odds are it's not real.

A little trivia; Laser scramblers are not a felony since light is regulated by the FDA.. But still practically almost useless

Yeah, i'm not too concerned with it anyway. It came with the car when the owner i'm buying the car from, bought it, i think it's just one of those gimmicks that younger kids like. I don't speed anyway, at least not in excess. But who knows, i might be tempted to goose the gas pedal now.

Well, just brought it home and took my first ride in it. I don't actually know how to drive stick, so i bought the car and my dad volunteered to teach me. He had his fun with the car on the way home. Took a turn after being at a light, on the straight away he gunned it through 3rd and let me tell you, this is definitely an upgrade from the V6. I'll probably be sleeping in here tonight. 10°f or not. So guys, if i fail to post again after this, you know i died happy. P.S better pics in the morning.

It's either a Roush or Saleen body kit. Hard to tell in the pic. Go to cervinis and check them out. I had a 97 cobra, lowered 3 inches with a Saleen kit on it. It looked amazing. Only I couldn't drive over a quarter without it dragging.

Yeah man, thats the first thing i said when i sawthis car. No room to really lower this thing lol. Thanks for the tip too, btw. Its driving me nuts trying to figure out what body kit this is, because i've never seen it before. As for the radar jammer, I have no idea. I didn't look at the brand, i'm not really liking how it's mounted in there either. But i'll have to dealwith it. When i find out the brand i'll let you know. (:

It looks great. Congratulations! You should put a pic of it by your screen name in honor of your celebration.

There is a different front bumper between the stage 1, and the stage 2 & 3. The pic you posted is of the 2 & 3.

I haven't had a chance to look into detail, theres an ice storm raging outside BUT however, i think it might actually be a Roush front, i looked up photos, and it looks almost exactly like this photo.

It's a black widow radar jammer. Not sure how it's wired up though to uninstall it.
