Shifter noise

Sorry for the same thread but I'm hearing noises down by my shifter. I do have a pro5.0 but it's making a noise I've not heard before. I hear it mainly in 5th amd kinda in 4th cuz my car is too loud to hear it in other gears but it's like a chirping hitting metal sound. It just started about a week and half ago. It does it with the engine warm and cold. Sometimes when I take it out of gear and I'm coasting in neutral. Anyone got any ideas?

I am having an oil leak and gettin oil pan gasket and adapter plate replaced tomorrow. But that's up front not the tranny. I'll have him check the Tranny oil an have him change it too.

Well, when you get the tranny fluid changed see if you can get some, to see if it has lots of metal filings in it.If it does something is wearing in the transmission usually.
