it turns off your traction control...letting you control how power goes to the back without the car taking part in what it does.

i turn mine off 100% of the time even on the street...even during snow conditions i find it's easier to control the gas myself then the car trying to give its input

no biggie...if you ever try flooring it with TC on then TC off you'll understand what i mean..

Only time I leave mine on is in the rain. My car has serious traction issues in wet conditions.

Were there any years that came with out the traction control button? I have a 2000 Gt and there's no button...

If you don't have a button then I don't think you have traction control. I have a 2000 gt and I bought it off the showroom floor it was a option.

I use it off at the drag and auto cross because if it feels slipping it cuts you're powrr
