He did the exact same thing in a v6 to v8 thread, he just wants to be a nuisance from the look of it.

Ahhhh! Memories! I remember this same talk back in late 80's, f-body's with 5.7 TPI , getting spanked left and right by the little fox body 5.0. Funny thing was, the little 3.8 with a turbo, in a buick regal, was the only thing that can run with the 5.0

Yep nuisance is my main goal really no? Lol I said the 4.6 was a disgrace they could have done alot better I think tht engine was to save money on their half . I love ford and Chevy no hate to either not trying to start trouble bros I apologize for any ruffled feathers . But I know my info is correct ... Ding well seems my pop corn is done (:

Nuisance? Not really nuisance its more like a good old fashoned chevy vs ford grudge match. This engine swap thread got jacked.. lol. Also want to say I have no hate for you greenstang. I love the grudge matching its what drew me into cars and racing at 14, I wanted to know wtf everyone was saying. lol. That being said..

Ding Ding. Popcorns done, gloves are back on and its round 2.

Since we seem to agree ford makes a better performing chasis than chevy the thing we cant really agree on is whose engines make more power? Chevy or Fords? What we do agree on is ford engines cost more to build than chevy engines. So heres the deal I know its a pointless exercise because reguardless of how much power you have you still have to harness it, Ive seen trailer queens lose to daily driver cars because they cant get the power to the ground which is were most chevy guys go wrong. I challenge you to show me a small block chevy engine that I cant find a ford engine within 10 CID to top it reguardless of pricetag or power adder and even custom parts, If it can be bought its fair game. I say SBC because BBC is not a relistic application for we street people, were not going to buy a 800+ cubic inch engine for our street car.. lol. Also keep a 93 octane cap to your engines they should be daily driveable. And then you can top that and so on.
You game?

Actually come to think of it I dont even want to go there I already know the worlds most powerful 93octane engine is a supercharged SBC. None the less that is not to say it cant be beat in a race by a car with less power. Like I said pointless exersice. lol. Even still there are plenty of ford powered vehicles beating chevy powered vehicles in races or else the chevy/ford power grudge match would be over.

ET times are really all that matters when it comes to a grudge match IMO. And we can sit here for years talking smack but until someone does it its just the same coffee house bull you hear about everything else.

And I forgot to mention... 281EFI is better than 302EFI. Going carbed adds 50hp to any v8 engine easy if done right. So yes your carbed 302 will beat out 281EFI cars and I have no doubt that it does.

Lol I hear ya man Chevy makes some killers and its amazing how cheap u can build all that hp with no knowledge as with a ford every part matters to achieve ur hp . Plus on my car my being carb I run a proform main body no choke says adds a extra 50 also run jet extensions and iab so I get a little extra bump and my heads aren't stock hardened seats , double springs , roller rockers and cam is custom grind and my pulley system actually adds some hp didn't know this until recently I have a full march performance set . Best intake in my opinion makes power through higher range than the performer . I run the Weiand xcelerator also crank bearings are machined to fit loose so higher revs are capable I can actually rev my motor over 8k with ease I know sounds crazy .. But my machine guy knows his stuff seeing my uncle owns the shop lol . I have nothing against u my friend enjoy talking to knowledgeable people that actually know stuff as well and u are one of them seems me and u should do this weekly and start charging and selling pop corn and chocolate milk and be rich haha . Good talking to u man

---------- Post added at 03:03 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:01 AM ----------

I'm not so sure a 281 efi beats a 302 efi I've rode in a new 5.0 efi and whew I like much better than the 4.6 but hey ur opinion man I've got mine too just preference

I guess I should be more specific. I know for fact the 281efi 2v modular doesnt beat out the new 302 efi 4v modular motor to motor but it does take down the 302 windsor in efi trim. I do so enjoy the grudge match smack talk its fun but long as no one really takes it to heart. Your a good sport thanks for the fun. PS we really should invest in chocolate milk and popcorn.
