No luck there too. There hard to find unless you pay $600 for a unpainted one.

Yea I was ready to buy it but he never contacted me again. Oh well $300 for shopping! No he jipped you. You can ship stuff like that for $100 just dont go through fed ex or ups. Postal service is always the cheapest.

The box was too large for usps and I told him to do it thru ups or FedEx since I wasn't gonna pay out of my pocket

For misunderstood here i did not jip him. I did thru fed ex or ups cause he asked to since the shop was taking the full blunt of the bumper that they had thrown away and it is their fault in doing so. Plus i gave him exact quotes from the place we were shipping it from and was handled accordingly and promptly as well as he was updated the whole way thru. Just clarifying my name on here if anyone assumed otherwise.

if it's not painted yet consider having the rear filled so the cobra is shaved off...a sexy GT is one thing but a GT saying cobra is just wrong

Wasn't bashing your name, ive shipped a hood for $100 to Wyoming. Just dont see why a bumper is $300. Fed ex and ups is always going to be higher go to the us postal they are the cheaper ones.

Plus I asked you to get back with me on a price and you never did. That's kinda sucks man. Oh well I continue my seach.

Why do you care it's his car.

I don't get people who get all worked up about this type of thing.

One of the best things about stangs is all the interchangeable parts.

Me too, I live how you can interchange almost every part with very lil work needed
Like I said before I just like the shaved look better otherwise I would've left the cobra intact
I can careless about what the cobra owners can say about that, it's my car, my money

I just think it looks tacky to see a car you know is a gt and it has cobra emblems all over it. In my mind its like the owner wishs he had a cobra but couldnt afford it and is a poser. And im not worked up just sharing my opinion as thats what forums are for. And your right it is his car but never will I put anything that says or signifys cobra on a car of mine unless it is infact a cobra.

I kind of agree but not to a radical extent. It's not my car so it's not my decision, but I don't really care for misleading things. Like if I got a 5.0 badge on the side but I really just have a 4.6, it just seems kind of silly to me. Just my two cents, don't want to offend, if that's what you like go for it.

One of the reasons this forum is so good is because people keep negative comments to themselves.

You see these other forums and it's nothing but a bash fest by a bunch of losers.

I figure if you don't have something positive or factual to post then shut the hell up and keep your negative **** in your own house.

How can you judge any car by pictures, idk, guess it is even more evidence of 9 out 10 people being an idiot, nothing personal.

Post positive or beat is my take.

I didnt say it bothered me, as you already stated its not my car, its just tacky in my opinion just like your ac cobra badge. All I said is what I think about it. Dont get mad bro, dont tell me I have issues in my life when you have no clue who I am, what I do or where I come from. I wouldnt get mad at you if you didnt like that I put an international diesel engine in my stang. I think its obvious that my comment offended or upset you and for that I appologize I dont want any bad blood. Again its just my opinion and if my opinion bothers you to the point to where you have to personaly attack me and say I have issues in life then maybe you should think about yourself for a minute and stop worrying about me.

Practice what you preach.

No, I simply stated an opinion in a friendly maner I dont know why you see this as negative and bashing. My intention was never to bash his ride or yours. Can I just not like somthing without it being veiwed as negative? Either way your personal attack upon me is actual negative behavior. And again I apologize for my opinion offending you and my apology stands, wish you would do the same for me, were all bros here.

Agreed...I am an eye for an eye kinda guy so yeah it was intended.

I've just never really seen anyone on this forum do anything like that here.

I see plenty of things I don't like but I'm not going to put up a post on what I don't like.

What purpose does your original post serve, really?

All good bro.
Edit: I know some don't like some of the things I do to my car but they just don't post, which is fine.

...and yeah I was being a dick because that particular subject I see people gettng bashed on other sites, then good poster don't post up there "custom" setup and we all miss out.

I've got a lot of good ideas of what to do and not to do by everyone posting up pics and quite frankly comments like yours make me not want to post up my custom ****.

No hard feelings bro, just sayin.
