I have a squeaky throwout bearing that I will be replacing soon, but lately I have noticed it is very hard to put into first gear. It's gradually getting harder and harder. Could this be because of the tob?

could be...when i had my GT it was a shift fork issue that kept causing my 1st gear to pop right back out

Yea it stays in gear. It's just hard to get in. Guess I'll just have to see when I drop the transmission
