Pretty sure you already know this but the cobra r hood will have a stepped look up to the peak of the cowl while the regular cowl will have the 3" cowl straight across and angled down to the hood. Is that what you were asking about? Lol

The cobra r hood you're talking about is I believe the 97-98 cobra r hood that is fitted for 99-04 I have a trufiber 3 in carbon fiber cowl hood, I would also recommend you buy hood pins from them also

That is the 95' style, maybe a lil taller, but the style is 95'. A plain cowl hood doesn't have steps.

Thanks! And yes, 3" is easy to see over. At first it feels like something's in your way, than you get used to it pretty quick. And make sure you get a functioning one! Haha. You feel way better when people ask if its a real one.

Love it, it's not annoying to see over it either. Plus after dd my mustang for a year before it got set up for project status you get used to the length of your car so you can still tell for parking situations.

Cowl is no different than looking over a high hood scoop. Only blocks a little bit over your view. Def recommended.

I bought mine that's on now off a totaled car butvthe people who did the paint f'd up the prep work so it's orange peeling now. I have to buy a new one but I'm re-doing my whole car now anyways since I slid out last spring I did some bumper damage and I want to get rid of all the scratches. I might see what AM has to offer
