4.6L block question

I have a quik question bout a 4.6L block i just picked up..basicly i have a 98gt with a spun rod bearing..i just picked up a short block 4.6L of a 2000 or 2001 crown vic..im pretty sure its a windsor block so im not worried bout the heads fitting..my question is will my timing cover and everything that bolts to it from my 98 would fit on this other block??? thanx in advance

Yea as long as the block in your car was a winsor block

On the back of the block it will have a w stamped if it's a Windsor block, and you could count the number of bolts on the valve covers, if they match your good....

Means your a 4.6l ie a gt
